SUNDAY..........
Well here we are then, new year new colour on blog, not sure if i am really happy with it but will give it a little while
Aren't some people rude, i say this because the husband and I did our shopping yesterday, we usually go on Monday but we both have things to do so we said we would do it saturday instead, anyway what i am getting at is we were standing in the Que at the checkout, in front of me was a Spanish women and behind me was another, and they were talking to each other over my head, and not one of them said excuse me or beg your pardon or anything it was as if i wasn't there, i know i am short but not that short even the girl on the check out looked, in fact at one point she looked at me and raised her eyebrows and she was Spanish, a lot of people here think i am because i am dark and short
I mean i know people in the uk can be rude but at least you would say something to the person you are talking over well i would anyway and have done in the past and even involved them in the conversation and the check out girl as well
Mind you i have found that some of the Spanish people here are very rude specially the younger ones
Lets hope i get home this year

ReplyDeleteYou know, about that rudeness problem, I think it's everywhere, and yes, it seems to be mostly the younger set. We were NOT brought up that way and I don't even want to think what would have happened to me if I'd been rude in public like that. It has to be the lesser upbringing today, don't you think? Seems that parents expect everyone else to do their job because they're too busy running around themselves. It's not right. It's not the schools' job to bring up kids. They're just to educate from books. I say parents better get a grip and open their eyes to what's happening and put the blame where it belongs, on themselves. Then fix it.
