STORM

TUESDAY......

We were woken up at 3.15 am this morning the an almighty storm, it was absolutely mad, with heavy rain that was just like a sheet of glass coming down and the most horrendous thunder and lightning, it went on for just over an hour then it seemed to move away only for it to come back about half an hour later for another dose
There have been flooding in places that are usually very dry and sandy, hubby did take some photos so i will get him to put them on here when he has a minute, at the moment the sun is out but we have a very strong wind and for once i have my doors closed

I forgot to tell you that on Saturday when we went looking for water features we went down to the south of the island where they have a big garden centre, and we stopped in the very nice eating area which backs onto a bit of the zoo there, which is really nice you can sit and eat your lunch and watch animals the part that it looks out on is the reptile house and hubby took the photo's on the left there so i thought i would post them on here, it is a really nice place with lovely soothing music playing and it is very pleasant and cool to sit there
